This minimalist/travel recipe which is called Nordic Bliss is created after some brainstorming and extensive fine-tuning of the custom settings. The name of this recipe is based on a Nordic / Scandinavian theme. I know it is impossible for me to shoot in European countries as I’m in a South-East Asia country, so all sample images are shot in a Scandevanian-themed location to suit the mood of this recipe, therefore this is still an experimental recipe.
Nordic Bliss has no characteristics of a 35mm film look or mimics any film stocks but it’s more theme based. It is suitable for travel, creative, minimalist interior shots and also for shooting landscapes. Feel free to try out the Nordic Bliss recipe if you’re in cold countries. Created using the Classic Chrome film simulation, you might find something special about this recipe’s characteristics, warm inside and cold outside, which is a cold tone when shooting outdoors and a warm tone when shooting indoors.
Â
Nordic Bliss is also great for Fuji shooters who are into minimalist photography give this recipe a try! There is no restriction to shoot Nordic style only but can be used to shoot anything. The Daylight white balance is set with a blend of White Balance Shifts to somewhere off the neutral tone. Film grain has been turned off for this recipe to maintain the image quality.
Â
If you noticed, there are two versions of Nordic Bliss, one for muted and another version that changes according to lighting conditions to warm or cold (hopefully it works lol).
Â
If you happened to test and shoot with the Nordic Bliss recipe, feel free to share or tagged your images with me on
